
The Arkle has a new favourite after long-term market leader Sir Gino was ruled out of the Cheltenham Festival with a ligament infection.

Betting slips for the 2025 Cheltenham Festival are being torn up across the country following the news that Sir Gino has been ruled out of the Arkle Chase.
Trainer Nicky Henderson confirmed on Monday that his star chaser will miss the Festival due to a ligament infection.
Sir Gino had been the 8/11 favourite for the Arkle Chase and had accounted for 41% of ante-post bets placed on the race through oddschecker since last year’s Festival.
