13:20 Cheltenham

Bet £40 and get £20 with PricedUp, Perfect for the Ryanair Mares' Novices' Hurdle (13:20)

Oddschecker selection: Maughreen

The festival's third day is one of the most exciting as we switch from the “old” course to the “new”. We get the day underway with the Ryanair Mares' Novices' Hurdle, and it’s Willie Mullins’ Maughreen that has our pick.

We know just how good Punchestown is as a training ground for Cheltenham, and Maughreen has quite the reputation. The 6-year-old mare has won twice in a row, she’s a cracking horse and - if we see Paul Townend make an appearance, they’ll make quite the team.

PricedUp are offering a new player bonus that’s perfect for the festival. Bet a total of £40 and receive a £20 free bet in time for the Festival.

14:00 Cheltenham

Get £10 back if your horse loses in the Jack Richards Novices' Limited Handicap Chase (14:00) with Virgin Bet

Oddschecker selection: Nurburgring

Nurburgring, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, is our pick for the Jack Richards Novices' Limited Handicap Chase.

Currently at 7/1, our choice is second only to Jagwar (6/1), the 6-year-old trained by Oliver Greenall & Josh Guerriero. Jagwar won last time out at Cheltenham in the Timeform Novices' Handicap Chase (January). He’s sure to be fierce competition, but can he hold of the likes of Nurburgring and Mullins’ Asian Master (8/1).

Virgin Bet are offering up to £10 as money back in Jack Richards Novices' Limited Handicap Chase. It’s part of their festival promo in which the cashback deal is offered in the following races:

New players can also benefit from £20 in free bets when they create a new Virgin Bet account and bet a minimum of £10 at the bookie.

14:40 Cheltenham

Oddschecker selection: Jeriko Du Reponet

Nicky Henderson’s Jeriko Du Reponet (11/2) is the current favourite and our pick for the Pertemps Network Final Handicap Hurdle. We expect Nico de Boinville to take the reins and get everything out of Jeriko Du Reponet on race day.

Bet £5 on the horse with Betfair, and you’ll get £20 in free bets to play with for the festival’s final day.

Bet £10 on the Ryanair Chase (15:20) and get £40 in Free Bets from BetMGM

Oddschecker selection: Fact To File

The festival's third day is the only day boasting two feature races - the Ryanair Chase and the Paddy Power Stayers’ Hurdle. The former is one of the most heavily anticipated races of the Festival, with Willie Mullins’ Fact To File currently the number one favourite.

Fact To File is already in the history books at Cheltenham, having won the Brown Advisory Novices' Chase in 2024. He’s now looking to add the Ryanair Chase to the trophy cabinet. Il Est Francais (3/1) is expected to put up quite the fight; he’s no stranger to winning but hasn’t been on form quite as strongly lately.

Place a £10 bet on Fact To File or any other horse at the festival, and you can earn £40 in free bets from BetMGM. Bettors that place a minimum of £2 on any race will also be entered into the £500,000 giveaway the bookie offers.

16:00 Cheltenham

Get £40 in Free Bets by Betting £10 on the Paddy Power Stayers' Hurdle (16:00) with Unibet

Oddschecker selection: Lucky Place

The Stayers’ Hurdle is the next big feature race on our list and is one of the festival's must-watch events. Gordon Elliott’s Teahupoo (7/2) is the clear favourite, but if you’re looking for something that packs a bigger punch, it has to be Lucky Place (14/1) that gets our bet.

The 6-year-old is an up-and-coming horse from Nicky Henderson’s stable and has formed quite the partnership with Nico de Boinville, winning his last two races. Most importantly, he came home in first on his last time out at Cheltenham in the Dornan Engineering Relkeel Hurdle (January).

Bet £10 at Cheltenham with Unibet and earn £40 in bonuses (a £10 Bet Builder, £10 Accumulator [4+ selections], and a £20 casino bonus).

16:40 Cheltenham

Get £50 in Betfred Free Bets, Place a £10 Bet on the TrustATrader Plate Handicap Chase (16:40)

Oddschecker selection: Shakem Up'arry

Next up, we’ve got the TrustATrader Plate Handicap Chase, a 2m4½f hurdle with 17 fences. Oliver Greenall & Josh Guerriero’s Jagwar is, once again, the favourite for the event at 7/1, but we’re looking elsewhere.

Ridden by Kielan Woods, Shakem Up'arry is good around Cheltenham. He won this race here last year, and the Harry Redknapp-owned horse has the chance to win again in 2025.

Qualify for the welcome offer, and you can use one of your Betfred free bets on the race. Simply bet a minimum of £10 at Cheltenham, and you’ll be offered £50 in free bets.
