Fact To File – 33% of Bets (15:20 Ryanair Chase)
Fact To File has become the most backed horse of the day, commanding 33% of bets in the 15:20 Ryanair Chase. You can back Fact to File at a best price of 7/4 here.
Trained by Willie Mullins and owned by JP McManus, Fact To File brings strong Cheltenham form into this race. After winning the Brown Advisory Novices' Chase at last year's Festival, he has since chased home Galopin Des Champs twice at Leopardstown, showing he belongs at the highest level.
His win in the John Durkan Memorial Chase at Punchestown, where he comfortably beat Spillane’s Tower, underlined his class over this trip.
Stepping back to two and a half miles looks like the right call, and with his proven ability over the distance and in testing company, it’s no surprise he’s leading the market.
Sixandahalf – 23% of Bets (13:20 Mares' Novice Hurdle)
Sixandahalf is the second most backed bet today overall and has been heavily supported in the Mares' Novice Hurdle, attracting 23% of bets. You can back Sixandahalf at a best price of 11/4 here.
Trained by Gavin Cromwell, she has made a seamless transition from the flat to hurdles. After an impressive bumper win at Punchestown last April, she progressed well on the flat, winning a maiden and a Newmarket handicap off 82 before finishing a close third in the Irish Cesarewitch.
Her hurdles debut at Fairyhouse in January was particularly eye-catching, as she cruised to a 12-length victory without coming off the bridle.
That level of dominance has convinced many that she has the class to take this race comfortably, even against more experienced rivals.
Teahupoo – 26% of Bets (16:00 Stayers' Hurdle)
Teahupoo is aiming to retain his Stayers' Hurdle crown and has drawn 26% of bets in the feature race of the day. He can be backed at a best price of 9/5 here.
Last year’s champion has followed a similar path this season, with his only outing coming in the Hatton's Grace Hurdle at Fairyhouse, where he finished second to Lossiemouth over an unsuitable 2m4f trip.
Back over three miles at Cheltenham, where he produced a commanding 6½-length win last year, Teahupoo is expected to be much more comfortable.
With proven stamina and top-level form, he looks well-positioned to defend his title.
