We're looking ahead to the final day of the 2025 Cheltenham Festival as the curtain comes down on four incredible days at Prestbury Park. Four out of the last five favourites have prevailed in the Festival's blue riband race - is Galopin Des Champs poised to complete a Gold Cup hat-trick?

Cheltenham Day 4 Racecard

Many will arrive on Friday at Cheltenham hoping to see Galopin Des Champs record a hat-trick of wins in the Gold Cup but that race is also supported by some competitive handicaps and a particularly strong looking Triumph Hurdle which opens the card.

Cheltenham Day 4 Tips from Our Tipsters

1:20 Cheltenham - Hello Neighbour 11/2 (0.5pt ew)

Both East India Dock and Lulamba are worthy of respect but at the prices I feel that HELLO NEIGHBOUR (best priced at 11/2) is the one to back each-way.

Nine of the previous 12 winners were trained in Ireland, nine of the previous 16 winners were unbeaten and he also comes out of the Spring Juvenile Hurdle which has provided nine of the previous 13 winners of this race including the 1-2 last year.

Hello Neighbour achieved a high rating of 97 on the flat in his two runs and it was notable that Gavin Cromwell ran him in a Grade 2 on his hurdling debut at Leopardstown at Christmas.

He beat the reopposing Lady Vega Allen that day despite racing keenly a making a couple of mistakes but was much more restrained in a first-time hood when confirming that form at the Dublin Racing Festival.

A fast pace and patient ride from Keith Donoghue should be rewarded with four places available and it is difficult to see him out of the places.

14:00 Friday

2:00 Cheltenham - Lark In The Mornin 5/1 (0.5pt ew)

The booking of Paul Townend on board Kargese catches the eye but preference instead goes to LARK IN THE MORNIN (best priced at 5/1) who bids for a second Festival success.

The Joseph O’Brien trained five-year-old won the Fred Winter Handicap Hurdle last season despite the heavy ground and caught the eye on his reappearance in the fog at Christmas.

Described as “kept on run-in, never nearer to challenge” in that race, this will have been the long-term target and he should remain well handicapped off a mark of 132 back on faster ground for a trainer who has already tasted victory this week in a handicap hurdle.

17:20 Friday

5:20 Cheltenham - Wodhooh 9/2 (0.5pt ew)

Kopek De Mee has been the talk of the preview circuit and could prove a handicap blot off a mark of 136 but the more solid option appears to be WODHOOH (best priced at 9/2).

The Gordon Elliott trained mare is unbeaten in her six career starts over hurdles and was a comfortable winner over this course and distance on her reappearance and the form of that victory has worked out well since.

She beat Joyeuse who is now rated 19lbs higher following her success at Newbury, third was Take No Chances who won a Grade 2 at Ascot before finishing 3rd in the Mares’ Hurdle on Tuesday and fourth was Royale Margeaux who won on her next start.

Wodhooh should remain well handicapped off only an 11lb higher mark and the fact that Danny Gilligan rode her last time has to be a huge positive. He won on Jazzy Matty on Wednesday which will give him huge confidence and she looks sure to be involved in the finish.
