The three most backed horses on Gold Cup Day at Cheltenham, combined to made a 10/1 acca.
Bettors have been busy today, and three standout horses have emerged as the most heavily backed selections across the Cheltenham card.
East India Dock, Galopin Des Champs, and Dinoblue make up a tempting 10/1 accumulator that’s attracting plenty of interest.
It is currently a best price of 10.3/1 with William Hill, add it to your betslip down below.
East India Dock (13:20 Triumph Hurdle)
East India Dock has quickly established himself as one of the most exciting juvenile hurdlers this season, and it's easy to see why he’s the most backed horse of the day with 40% of bets in the Triumph Hurdle.
Trained by James Owen, the son of Golden Horn has looked faultless over hurdles, winning all three of his starts by wide margins, including two Grade 2 victories at Cheltenham.
His 18-length success in January marked him out as a serious contender, and his fluent jumping and ability to quicken off a strong pace give him a major edge.
Facing a competitive field, East India Dock’s proven ability at this level makes him a standout option.
Galopin Des Champs (16:00 Gold Cup)
Galopin Des Champs needs little introduction. Willie Mullins’ superstar chaser is aiming for a third successive Gold Cup victory, and punters have shown their confidence by placing 44% of bets on him in the feature race.
A winner of 11 chases, including the Irish Gold Cup and Savills Chase this season, Galopin Des Champs has shown his class and versatility on varying ground conditions.
His dominant display at Leopardstown last month, where he comfortably saw off Grangeclare West, underlines his status as the one to beat.
If he delivers another polished performance, Galopin Des Champs could cement his place among the greats.
Dinoblue (14:40 Mares’ Chase)
Dinoblue has been a consistent force in the two-mile chase division and comes into the Mares’ Chase as the clear favourite with 46% of bets placed on her.
Trained by Willie Mullins, she has proven herself at this level, winning six chases and finishing second in this race last year.
Dinoblue arrives on the back of a Listed win at Naas, where she held off stablemate Allegorie De Vassy despite conceding weight.
With Mullins’ record in this contest and Dinoblue’s strong form, she looks well-placed to go one better this time around.
