John Gosden’s filly is now as short as 4/1 after scoring well at Chester.
Mehdaayin stormed home in the Cheshire Oaks to win by four and a half lengths as late money saw the horse go off the 3/1 favourite for the race.
The next stop for John Gosden’s filly would naturally be the Epsom Oaks and it would be a shock should the three-year-old not to be supplemented for the classic.
Bookies immediately added her to the Oaks market and she was available at 10/1 for a short while, but a wave of support following the triumph means she has not been cut as short as 4/1.
Punters wasted no time scooping up the early value, 68% of bets being placed on the Frankel filly since the race finished.
Manuele De Vega went off 7/2 for the race at Chester and was the closest rival to Mehdaayin, but is now as big as 33/1 for the Oaks whilst some firms didn’t think it was too bad a beat, and have shortened her to 14/1.
Oddschecker spokesperson, George Elek: "Frankel filly Mehdaayih won with absolute ease and looked all an Oaks horse.
'John Gosden's yard has started the season in great form and surely now he supplements the three-year-old for Epsom. She will take some beating.'
