Tip 1 - Glengolly - 1pt

Best odds of 7/2 at Unibet while publishing.

The Billy Aprahamian-trained GLENGOLLY (best priced at 7/2) showed improved form with the application of a first-time tongue tie last time and should hold strong claims off only a 7lb higher mark. The six-year-old needed his reappearance run when only fourth at Ffos Las before winning easily at Hereford last time by 7 ½ lengths.

The handicapper has raised Glengolly 7lbs for that comfortable victory, but he remains unexposed in a tongue-tie, and he looks the one to beat.

Tip 2 - Madajovy - 1pt

Best odds of 7/1 at bet365 while publishing.

The handicapper made Dan Skelton run MADAJOVY (best priced at 7/1) for a fourth time over hurdles to get an opening mark, and although 98 doesn’t look a gimme, he is expected to show improved form. The five-year-old ran well in two bumpers, finishing 3rd at Ludlow on his debut prior to finishing 4th within 11 lengths of the talented 129-rated hurdler Captain Hugo.

Madajovy was sent off at only 8/13 for his hurdling debut in June when pulled up at Worcester and has been sent off at high prices on his three starts this season. He steps up slightly in trip to 2m3f and looks worth taking a chance on now switched to handicap company.

Tip 3 - Cornish Comedy - 1pt

Best odds of 13/8 at Unibet while publishing.

Northern Air has disappointed on her two starts for Dan Skelton, and preference instead goes to CORNISH COMEDY (best priced at 13/8) for the in-form Robbie Llewellyn stable. The five-year-old had shown very limited form over hurdles but seemed to relish the switch to chasing when runner-up at Hereford last time.

Cornish Comedy was only beaten 6 lengths that day off a mark of 87 and runs here off only a 2lb higher mark. The stable is enjoying a purple patch currently with their RTF at 100% and form figures of 423112 in the past fortnight, and hopefully Cornish Comedy can continue that form.

Tip 4 - Tyrrhenian Sea - 1pt

Best odds of 1/1 at SpreadEx while publishing.

TYRRHENIAN SEA (best priced at EVENS) was only beaten by the 113-rated Royal Champion in this race last season, and he looks the one to beat this year with a top rating of 108. The Roger Varian trained seven-year-old has an impressive record on the AW and ran with credit when 3rd in a listed race at Kempton a month ago.

Tyrrhenian Sea won this race two years ago and can regain his crown with Jack Mitchell once again on board.
