CREBILLY has a better chance than his odds suggest. The nine-year-old finished second in a deep handicap at the Cheltenham Festival two years ago off a mark of 140 and is now down to a mark of 127.

Returning to hurdles, with conditions holding no fears, I can see him being seriously competitive if he stays the distance. All of his form has come over shorter but a few of his rivals have questions to answer so he’s put forward.

I really like the chances of DREAM SHADOW (NAP) in this Grade 2 event.

She is proven on all types of surfaces and was a really impressive winner over C&D two starts ago. She has yet to finish out of the frame in all of her starts and has won her last two outings in this sphere.

Fergal O’Brien’s charge is going from strength to strength and is a confident choice to make an impact. She ticks most boxes in my opinion and is a great price.
