This looks a competitive 0-65 handicap, but preference goes to the top weight DAPPER GEE GEE (best priced at 17/2), which arrives here off the back of a good effort at Wolverhampton. The Tony Carroll-trained four-year-old finished a close 2nd on turf in October off a mark of 66 before struggling in Class 5 company on his next two starts.
Dapper Gee Gee bounced back to form, finishing 2nd, beaten only a length at Wolverhampton last time off this mark of 65 when dropped into this Class 6 company. He should run well once again off the same mark.

ZIGGY’S TRITON (best priced at 3/1) beat Hiya Maite comfortably over this course and distance a week ago, and a 5lb penalty shouldn’t see that rival reverse form. The David O’Meara-trained gelding has a good record at this track with form figures of 2311, and the in-form four-year-old now bids to complete a hat-trick of wins over this course and distance.
A 5lb penalty will make this more difficult for Ziggy’s Triton, but he looks progressive and won more comfortably than the winning distance of 1 ¼ lengths suggested last time.
