We reveal the three most backed horses on the third day of the Goodwood Festival

YAZAMAN has now finished second behind Tactical on two occasions. Firstly, in the Windsor Castle Stakes when finding plenty of trouble in running but finishing very strongly. Then, in the July Stakes when he was headed late on by Tactical but that was still a very good effort. He doesn’t have Tactical to face today and is strongly fancied by oddschecker users to win for the second time in his short career.

AL AASY put in his best performance to date when landing the Bahrain Trophy Stakes at Newmarket earlier this month. He ran out a comfortable winner in that Group 3 race, giving off the impression there was plenty more to come from William Haggas’ exciting three-year-old. The form of that race is working out well, and oddschecker users think he can get the better of the current favourite, English King.

MAGIC WAND has been strongly supported from 5/1 last night into 3/1 this morning in the Nassau Stakes. She won at the Curragh on her seasonal reappearance in June before a respectable run in the Coral-Eclipse. She stayed on well that day in eye-catching fashion. Now in an easier race, the five-year-old can dictate matters from the front under Frankie Dettori. She may take some catching.
