Oddschecker users don't think Blaklion is a sure thing for Saturday's race.
The favourite for this year’s Grand National runs in the trial at Haydock on Saturday, and although Blaklion has received the most bets through Oddschecker this week with 22.4%, there are also five other horses that account for a large chunk of the wagers.
Silsol is the second most backed with 15.3% and is available at 16/1, whilst Three Faces West is not far behind with 14.8% of bets, with 7/1 the top price about the 10-year-old.
Also at 7/1 for Saturday’s Grand National Trial is Wild West Wing who accounts for 13.2%. Daklondike (8/1) and The Dutchman (4/1) have had 11.2% and 10% of bets on them respectively.
Blaklion is a 10/1 shot for the Aintree showpiece in April and if the 2017 fourth place can win the trial at Haydock this weekend, then Nigel Twiston-Davis’ horse will certainly shorten for the main event.
Expect movement elsewhere in the Grand National ante-post market depending on Saturday’s showing with Wild West Wind (40/1), The Dutchman (40/1), Three Faces West (50/1) and Silsol (100/1) all priced up by bookmakers.
