The announcement of Bryony Frost has seen a number of bets come in for the veteran horse.
MILANSBAR has received over 10% of all Grand National bets in the last 48 hours, with the main event just one week away.
Bryony Frost will be the jockey to board Neil King’s 11-year-old, having last partnered up in January to win the Classic Chase at Warwick.
Frost was out riding the 40/1 shot on Thursday and only had good words to say about the horse she will be riding at Aintree.
“This is the second time I’ve ever sat on him. I was happy. When I asked him, he delivered for me. He jumped those fences great.”
Milansbar finished second in the Midlands Grand National having opened around 22/1 and Oddschecker punters believe the veteran can go one better on Saturday.
The bets have also come thick and fast for the 11-year-old since the announcement of Bryony Frost being on board but it isn’t hard to see as to why. With 35 wins to her name, she has already performed admirably at the Cheltenham Festival and Ascot this season.
Oddschecker spokesman George Elek: “Milansbar has had an excellent career to date but the veteran may not be done just yet. His performance in the Midlands Grand National would have pleased Neil King and the booking of Bryony Frost is only another positive for the yard.”
