The 2017 winner of the famous Aintree showpiece has received the most bets in the last 24 hours.
There has been a surge of bets on One For Arthur winning the Grand National next year in the last 24 hours, the nine-year-old accounting for the most bets on any horse in the market with 28%.
Scottish based trainer Lucinda Russell has not been able to send the 2017 winner out to race since that famous victory, as the 14/1 champion has been struggling with injury ever since.
We may see the long-awaited reappearance at the Becher Handicap Chase on the 8th December, where he is one of 58 entries and is currently ranging from 10/1 to 16/1 depending on the bookmaker.
If One For Arthur does show up on the day, a strong showing back at Aintree would see the 28/1 currently on offer for a second triumph in three years be heavily slashed by bookmakers.
Oddschecker spokesman, George Elek: 'To have a bet in November on the Grand National is one thing, but to back a horse that hasn't run since wining the race 18 months ago is leap of faith big enough to clear Becher's Brook!'
