Punters who are eyeing a big-priced play on day two of the Aintree Festival, look no further than this each-way double from our expert tipsters.

The selections come from in-form tipsters Road to Cheltenham and Jake Price, who are already up 6.4 and 7.4 points respectively after a profitable opening day on Merseyside.

The doule targets two the Mildmay Chase and the Oddschecker Sefton Novices' Hurdle. With both analysts in strong form, this double looks a compelling way to chase value at Aintree.

Leg 1 - Salver - Mildmay Novices' Chase (14:20)

Some believe that SALVER is a mudlark but he has some solid form on nicer ground and I’m hoping he can secure a Grade 1 after winning two Grade 2 races over fences. Caoilin Quinn gets a real tune out of him and he brings the best level of form to the race.

He’s been busy enough, with five chase starts this season but he seems to be a horse that thrives with racing and I’m not expecting the quick turnaround to be an issue. It’s not the strongest race in the world and hopefully he can get the job done.

Gold Dancer is the best rated horse on paper but I’d be happy enough to take him on in this race. Wendigo probably wants a stiffer test of stamina but the long run-in will help him if he’s in contention turning in. However, Salver is the one to beat for me.

Leg 2 - Zeus Power - Sefton Novices' Hurdle (16:40)

Tip provided from Jake Price. Find all his picks for Day Two HERE.

If you go back and watch how ZEUS POWER got on in the Grade 1 Turners Novices’ Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival, then you will note that he clearly should be suited by this step up in trip to 3m on Friday, and as such I think he is a cracking bet. He stayed on from miles back that day to rattle home for third place behind King Rasko Grey and Act Of Innocence, and to be honest I think that piece of form is going to work out stronger than the Albert Bartlett which to me was muddling at best.

This horse has already been spoken about as a potential Stayers Hurdle candidate for next season, and therefore in a race which looks full of future Staying Chasers, he is the clear bet for me. Joseph O'Brien and JJ Slevin team up once again, and the quicker ground is another positive on his side. There is every chance No Drama This End does not run if the ground is too quick, and as such Harry Cobden is already booked to ride the longer priced Talk To The Man instead.

The double pays a best price of 25/1 with William Hill at the time of publishing.
