Being no stranger to running big races in these types of events, it’s about time BEAT THE BAT (NAP) landed a big one. Harry Fry’s consistent servant shaped with promise when third on chase debut after seven months off five weeks ago and is back over hurdles off a nice figure.

He is only a pound higher than when a solid fourth in last season’s County Hurdle. That is really strong form and I do think this is a bit easier. In a race that will again be up his street, there’s every chance he will be heavily competitive.
