A few “staying on” runs over shorter distances, and last time out over a middle distance, he was given plenty to do and stayed on strongly from the rear.
This longer trip might just be the catalyst to produce another win on a track he’s a winner at.
He handles the ground, and a talented five-pound claimer takes the ride.
HE CAN’T DANCE is another Gordon Elliott runner, who is lightly raced, and handles the ground, as well as staying the trip.
He could find the improvement now in handicapping.

Tip 4: BATTLE OF RIDGEWAY - 1pt WIN

ADDRAGOOLE won easily over course and distance at Christmas, and now has five pounds claimed off to negotiate some of the ten-pound rise.
He travelled sweetly, and if the same vein then can put up a good show.
BATTLE OF RIDGEWAY is another easy winner from last time out, and has more on the plate, but can go well again if in the same form.

I thought Charismatic Kid looked impressive on debut, making all under soft-to-heavy conditions.
Now trained by Gordon Elliott, I can only envisage more improvement to come now in his new ownership.
Likely to get similar ground, it looks like a race lacking depth, so any improvement would see him the one to beat.
