Tip 1: AL NAJASHI - 1pt WIN

Best odds of 4/1 at bet365 while publishing.

Went handicapping in January and hasn’t looked back with four wins from four starts including here at the track last time out. I would have imagined this has been a plan for a while, winning at Southwell, Lingfield, Wolverhampton, and here at Newcastle when last seen.

Two wins have been at six furlongs, and two at seven, so has some adaptability about him.

Two starts ago he won by 13 lengths, and last time was eased down to win by over three.

He’s up ten pounds for that win to a mark off 85, but gets in here off a fair weight.

He’s a prominent racer, without being a front runner, and if there is no traffic problems in this 15 runner contest, he should get a pace to aim at and strike, and hopefully has something up his sleeve still from the handicapper.

Tip 2: FIVETHOUSANDTOONE - 0.5pt EW (5 places)

Best odds of 14/1 at bet365 while publishing.

Minus a 10th and 8th place finish here at the track, his course record would read 1321413, and he put up an eye-catching display two runs back over course and distance when staying on best.

Last time out he was a gallant second at Southwell.

And, just a pound higher than his last winning mark, and returning this track from a rails draw, hopefully he finds the gaps to make his present felt where it matters.

Tip 3: CHARGING THUNDER - 0.5pt EW (4 places)

Best odds of 28/1 at bet365 while publishing.

A flyer is taken on Charging Thunder at the prices.

A winner off 95 in the past, and a Class 3 winner off 92, he’s now in here off 93.
He has won a few hurdle races since switching to this yard, and has completed in tough handicaps on the flat in the past.

Things haven’t dropped right the last few rights, hence the potential for the bigger price.
He was third over course and distance in the Northumberland Plate here off two pound lower, and this is easier than that, so may be overlooked in the market to potentially run a big race.
