We've got tips for every live race on the opening day at Royal Ascot.

With six places on offer and a few at the top of the market offering very little value, there’s a couple of juicy prospects to kick-off Royal Ascot in the opener. With bookmakers being so generous with the place terms, there are two I’m going to take a punt with.
The first is KAESO (best price 6-1), who I think should be the favourite. The six-year-old finished off last season in style with a victory over Ventura Ocean at Doncaster, and then a solid second place to the impressive Raising Sand. He’ll like the distance and also the potential of a little rain during the day. He also has valuable experience in big fields such as today.
The second one which I believe should be a lot shorter, but is drifting this morning is GREENSIDE (best price 20-1). I like the form last season which ended with a second place on the heavily backed Kynren. He’s another who will like any rain. Has every chance of placing at least.

MISS YODA (best price 6-1) missed the start last time out, but I was still impressed at how she stayed on to get the job done near the line. The form from her second place a couple of starts ago has been boosted over recent weeks. With four places on offer she looks a solid each-way option at 6/1.

A pretty boring pick for the King Edward VII Stakes but I struggle to see how Ryan Moore gets beaten in this one. MOGUL (best price 10-11) was last seen finishing a very close fourth to Kameko at Newcastle. That form alone makes him the stand-out horse in the race.

I’m a huge fan of LIBERTY BEACH (best price 15-2) and landed quite a few tips last season because of John Quinn’s horse. I must admit I prefer Liberty Beach over 6f, but this looks a cracking each-way angle into the race. She did enough to get the job done at Haydock earlier in the month, and this is obviously a much tougher test, she has every chance of back-to-back wins.
16:10 Royal Ascot
Nazeef should be favourite for me in this race but I’d like a little extra room in the price to back. Therefore, I’ve opted to go with another each-way shot with four places being on offer. WASMYA (best price 15-2) keeps improving and had a few of nice runs on testing ground in France. She last won back in September when she easily beat Miss Celestial, who ran pretty well last weekend. Has every chance of winning but should at least place.

There’s a few in this race who have made their way into my tracker previously. One of them is ASHUTOR (best price 33-1) who has been an annoying horse to follow in the past. However, has plenty of talent and is worth taking another risk at such a big price.
One that wasn’t in the tracker but it wouldn’t take a genius to pick him out. DIOCLETIAN (best price 16-1) was very very impressive when winning at Chester last year, and despite the weights I’m going to stick with him in the final race on day one.
