Lord North launched himself to the front of the market for the Coral-Eclipse at Sandown after very impressively winning the Prince Of Wales's Stakes at Royal Ascot.

The gelding is set for a clash with Enable and Ghaiyyath next month, and is only just behind the latter in the market.

Japan has also drifted out to 10/1, following a disappointing effort this afternoon.

With two furlongs to go, it looked to be anyone's race, but Lord North showed an incredible turn of foot to put the race to bed with ease.

Japan struggled to find much when asked by Ryan Moore, but may have needed the run, having drifted throughout the day.

However, it is full pace ahead to Sandown for Lord North and it will be a fascinating clash between himself and stablemate Enable, should they both turn up.
