Jim Crowley's opening day treble saw him cut from 25/1 to as short as 7/2.
After the first day’s action at Royal Ascot, Ryan Moore is the 11/10 favourite to take the Top Jockey crown.
However, an opening day 118/1 treble means Jim Crowley actually leads the race at this stage. His price was cut from 25/1 in places all the way in to as short as 7/2.
That massive move came as Crowley starred on day one at Royal Ascot. He took the opening race aboard the Richard Hannon-trained Motakhayyel at 14/1. His next win came in the King’s Stand Stakes, a blistering win at the third time of asking on 5/6 favourite Battaash. That was promptly followed up with a winner in the next race, an impressive performance from John Gosden’s Nazeef at 10/3 to take the Duke Of Cambridge Stakes.

Many will be disappointed it wasn’t four on the day for Crowley, who looked to have a live chance with Mohaather, but the door was slammed shut several times in the Queen Anne.
Usually the two battling it out in this race, Frankie Dettori (7/4) and Ryan Moore (11/10) had to settle for one winner apiece on day one. Bookies know how this story usually goes though, and those two sit pretty in the market ahead of Crowley.
On day two, Moore rides three current favourites, while Dettori rides two.
