This looks like a competitive 0-70 handicap, but preference goes to BILLY MILL (best priced at 7/1), who will appreciate this drop in grade. The Rod Millman-trained eight-year-old won over this course and distance in May off a mark of 75 before running with credit on his next five starts on turf.
Billy Mill could only finish 7th back on the AW in August, but that was in a Class 4 0-85 handicap off a mark of 70, and he now runs here in this Class 5 0-70 handicap off a career low mark of 68. He returns after a 147 day break, which is a slight question mark, but he should run well dropped in grade.

The market is dominated by course specialists Heathcliff and MOUNT ATHOS (best priced at 10/3), with preference going to the latter, who is unbeaten in his five starts at the track in his career. The James Tate-trained seven-year-old is 5/5 over this course and distance, with his previous two victories coming off marks of 105 and 106.
Mount Athos has made all on those two occasions, but he may not get an easy lead here with both The Lost King and Doctor Khan Junior often front runners, but he should prove too good once again at this track off a mark of 106 with Heathcliff no doubt staying on well at the finish.
