Steve Ryder shares two free betting tips for Friday's racing cards at Newcastle.
1:15 Newcastle
Tip 1: Billecart - 1pt
Best odds of 9/4 at SpreadEx while publishing.
Andab sets the standard in this race with an official rating of 103 but a chance is taken on BILLECART (best priced at 9/4) who made a winning reappearance 29 days ago. The Karl Burke colt still holds an entry for both the UK and Irish 2000 Guineas and made a debut full of promise when 4th at Newmarket in July.
That race ha worked out exceptionally well with the winner Distant Storm rated 115, the runner-up Constitution River rated 112, the third Catullus rated 96 and the fifth Oxagon rated 112. Billecart is yet to receive an official rating after a comfortable five length victory at 1/6 over this course and distance and he should be able to cope with this step up in grade.

Tip 2: Witch Hunter - 0.5pt EW
Best odds of 20/1 at bet365 while publishing.
This looks an extremely competitive handicap but WITCH HUNTER (best priced at 20/1) looks overpriced at current odds. The Richard Hannon trained seven-year-old has a good record on the AW including when successful over this course and distance in January off a mark of 101. His form figures at this track is 23611 with his latest victory being his only attempt over a mile here.
Since that win, Witch Hunter has run with credit at listed level but now drops back into this handicap off top weight with Jamie Spencer a positive jockey booking for the horse (won a Royal Ascot handicap, finished a nose 2nd in a Group 2 and finished 2nd in a listed race on him).
