Wimbledon 2022 moves on to the quarter-finals and we've put together this 9/2 acca across three men's matches on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Novak Djokovic vs Jannik Sinner
Djokovic to win 3-0
Novak Djokovic dropped a set last time out against Tim Van Rijthoven but will be eyeing a speedy progression into the semi-finals at Wimbledon on Centre Court today. He hasn't lost a set in his two matches to date against Jannik Sinner, who came through a four-setter against Carlos Alcaraz on Sunday. Sinner will need to up his 57% points won on first serve from that match to test Djokovic.
David Goffin vs Cameron Norrie
Norrie to win
British number one Cameron Norrie has landed a favourable quarter-final tie as he looks to continue his best ever performance in a Grand Slam. The world number 12 hasn't dropped a set since a five-set win over Jaume Antoni Munar Clar in Round 2, while Goffin came through a long Round 4 match against Frances Tiafoe where four of the five sets reached 5-5.
We don’t expect this to be plain-sailing for Norrie given Goffin’s greater Grand Slam experience and the classy Belgian should make this competitive enough to win a set. That makes this bet an appealing 8/5 for Norrie coming out on top and both players winning a set.
Taylor Fritz vs Rafael Nadal
Over 38.5 games
Taylor Fritz won his last match against Rafael Nadal at Indian Wells in March, fashioning nine break points (four won) across just 10 service games for the Spaniard. World number 14 Fritz also comes into this match having yet to drop a set in matches against Lorenzo Musetti, Alastair Gray, Alex Molcan and Jason Murray Kubler - losing just eight games in his Round 4 match.
He has eight wins from 10 matches in grass in 2022, so we're taking him to push the great Nadal - who needs little introduction - to a possible fourth set and overs on the total games line.
