Our Wimbledon tips are 8.4 points in profit going into the finals!
The Women's semi-finals have to be two of the most uncompetitive in recent memory. The two challengers only won seven sets combined in their matches. Abysmal.
Anyway, at least today we can expect the opposite, as the two best players this tournament are going to meet in what should be a cracking final.
Serena Williams is vowing to win her 8th Wimbledon title and unprecedented 24th Grand Slam title.
The 37-year-old however, has looked shaky at points in this tournament. She has not added to her GS haul since the Australian Open back in 2017. She has made two finals since but failed in both, one being last year's final at SW19. She just isn't the same proposition she was a couple of years ago.
I think that is going to be the case again today as she faces a Simona Halep who is at the top of her game.
The Romanian has had a difficult path to the final but she has won convincingly against every opponent put in her way.
Azarenka is a dangerous player - she beat her 6-3, 6-1. Coco Gauff was riding a wave of momentum - again, she brushed her aside. Even when she looked like she could be in trouble against Zhang in the quarters - she broke back and won in straight sets. I've already mentioned how uncompetitive the semi-finals were.
The 17/10 on Simona Halep just looks much too big and I am banking on the battle-hardened Romanian to beat Serena and win her first Wimbledon.
