Week 1 always throws up fresh variables, new coordinators, new quarterbacks, revamped defences, but the players who scored consistently in the red zone last season tend to remain the best starting point when the games actually kick off. Below are five touchdown scorers at prices ranging from even money to 11/4, and combined together they form a five-leg Anytime Touchdown Scorer treble priced at odds of nearly 100/1.
Tip 1: James Cook Anytime Touchdown Scorer
Odds: 1/1
Fixture: Buffalo Bills at Houston Texans
James Cook starts our Sunday touchdown picks after producing the best rushing season of his NFL career in 2025. The Bills running back led the league with 1,621 rushing yards from 309 carries, averaged 5.2 yards per attempt and scored 12 rushing touchdowns. He also produced nine runs of at least 20 yards and four of 40+, giving him more than one route to cashing an anytime touchdown bet.
Houston represents a difficult matchup, but Cook has already shown he can break through this defence. When Buffalo visited the Texans last November, he rushed 17 times for 116 yards and a touchdown, with his score coming on a 45-yard run on which he reached 21.33mph. That performance came despite Houston sacking Josh Allen eight times and holding Buffalo to 19 points.
That previous meeting is particularly relevant because Houston's pass rush could again encourage Buffalo to put the ball in Cook's hands rather than asking Allen to repeatedly attack from the pocket. At 1/1, an implied probability of 50%, we are backing the reigning NFL rushing champion to remain the focal point of Buffalo's ground game and repeat last season's touchdown success in Houston.
Tip 2: Dallas Goedert - Anytime Touchdown Scorer

Fixture: Washington Commanders at Philadelphia Eagles
Dallas Goedert emerged as one of the league's most efficient scoring tight ends last season, turning 60 receptions and 591 receiving yards into a career-high 11 touchdowns. He scored once for every 5.5 receptions, with his value increasingly coming from Jalen Hurts looking his way when Philadelphia moved into scoring territory.
Washington's defence offers encouragement. The Commanders surrendered 451 points across 17 games in 2025, an average of 26.5 per game, during a 5-12 campaign. Tight ends were able to hurt them too, most notably when Minnesota's T.J. Hockenson and Josh Oliver combined for three touchdowns in their December meeting.
Goedert therefore stands out as one of the most logical Philadelphia players to target in the touchdown market. Hurts' rushing ability will always absorb some goal-line opportunities, but Goedert's 11 scores from just 82 targets last season demonstrate how important he has become when the Eagles throw near the end zone.
Tip 3: Alec Pierce - Anytime Touchdown Scorer
Odds: 11/4
Fixture: Baltimore Ravens at Indianapolis Colts
Alec Pierce supplies the biggest price among our five selections at 11/4, implying a 26.7% probability of scoring. The Colts receiver produced career highs of 47 receptions, 1,003 yards and six touchdowns last season, while his remarkable 21.3 yards per reception led the NFL for a second successive year.
Pierce recorded 17 receptions of at least 20 yards in 2025 and finished the campaign in explosive scoring form. He caught two touchdowns for 86 yards against San Francisco in Week 16 before ending the regular season with 132 yards and two scores against Houston, including a 66-yard touchdown. He was particularly effective at Lucas Oil Stadium, where he averaged 22.6 yards per catch and scored three times across seven appearances.
Baltimore's secondary is also one of the units looking to improve after ranking near the bottom of the league against the pass last season. The Ravens are expected to devote additional coverage to Pierce because of his deep-ball threat, but at 11/4 we only need one connection with Daniel Jones. Few receivers in the league are better equipped to turn a single downfield opportunity into six points.
Tip 4: Parker Washington - Anytime Touchdown Scorer
Odds: 2/1
Fixture: Cleveland Browns at Jacksonville Jaguars
Parker Washington enjoyed a breakout 2025 campaign for Jacksonville, recording 58 receptions from 95 targets for 847 yards and five touchdowns. He also generated 17 receptions of at least 20 yards, showing that his growing role in Trevor Lawrence's passing attack was not limited to underneath work.
His numbers close to the end zone make the 2/1 particularly interesting. Washington caught eight passes for 51 yards and four touchdowns from inside the opposition's 20-yard line, meaning four of his five receiving scores came in the red zone. He also finished last season strongly, with recent reporting highlighting 454 receiving yards and three touchdowns across his final four games including the playoffs.
Cleveland were fourth in the NFL for total yards allowed last season, so this is not simply a bet against a weak defence. However, the Browns still surrendered 25 passing touchdowns, and Washington's combination of an increasingly important receiving role and proven red-zone efficiency makes the 2/1 worth considering.
Tip 5: Trey McBride - Anytime Touchdown Scorer
Odds: 11/5
Fixture: Arizona Cardinals at LA Chargers
Trey McBride may offer the best combination of volume and price on Sunday's card. Arizona's tight end finished 2025 with an extraordinary 126 receptions for 1,239 yards and 11 touchdowns from 169 targets, setting career highs across all three categories and establishing himself as the clear centrepiece of the Cardinals passing attack.
Even more important is his connection with Jacoby Brissett, who will start at quarterback for Arizona. McBride produced 108 catches for 1,083 yards and 10 touchdowns in 14 games alongside Brissett last season, meaning 10 of his 11 scores came in games in which the veteran quarterback featured. That established chemistry gives McBride a particularly strong scoring case as Arizona begins the new campaign.
At 11/5, the odds imply only a 31.3% probability of a touchdown. For a player who received 169 targets, scored 11 times and produced 10 touchdowns while sharing the field with Sunday's starting quarterback last season, that price looks generous enough to round off our five anytime touchdown selections.
