Stop me if you've heard this before, but Ja Morant just went off again...again...again...again.
Over his last 15 games, the 22-year-old is averaging a whopping 32.9 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 6.8 assists per game. According to my math, that's pretty damn good. And that doesn't even include tonight's barrage.
Speaking of tonight, the Memphis Grizzlies' human highlight reel treated the San Antonio Spurs like his personal piñata and smashed them to the tune of 52 points.
On the topic of smashing, just watch what Morant did to San Antonio's Jakob Poeltl. And then watch it again. And again. And again.
Poor guy.
That was most certainly not Ja's only highlight of the night. He also did this to end the first half.
In summary -- the kid can play.

Ja Morant MVP Odds: +1900 (Bet $100 to Win $1900)
Now, Morant isn't just putting up empty stats. In fact, he's got the Grizzlies third in the West with a 43-20 record, which just so happens to be the third-best record in the NBA. Not too shabby.
Sure, Morant might not be a top-three candidate yet, but if he continues this tear, he'll be up there in no time.
Entering play today, Morant's odds to take home the hardware was +1900 over at FanDuel. If he's anywhere near that vicinity when MVP odds open up again, I'd place that bet without thinking twice.
Crazier things have happened.
