Paolo Banchero +200 (Bet $100 to win $200)

Paolo Banchero is now given a 33.33% chance to win the NBA Rookie of the Year. Banchero, selected first overall by the Orlando Magic was a star at Duke in his lone season there. Expectations are sky high for him as he'll be expected to help the Magic through their rebuild process.

21 first overall picks have won the NBA Rookie of the Year Award, most recently Ben Simmons in 2018. Last year, Scottie Banes won the award as the fourth overall pick. Twice in the Magic's history have they had a player win Rookie of the Year. The first was Shaq in 2992 and then Mike Miller in 2000.

Keegan Murray +450 (Bet $100 to win $450)

Keegan Murray is the next most likely player to win the award. He's given an implied chance of 18.18% to take home the award for the Sacramento Kings. In the Kings' history, only one player won the Rookie of the Year award and that was Tyreke Evans in 2010. Evans was also the fourth overall pick in the draft like Murray.

At age 22, he's a little bit older than Paolo Banchero but that doesn't discredit his skillset coming to the NBA out of Iowa. Murray underwent surgery in July for his wrist but has been making good progress in his recovery.
