2022-23 NBA MVP Odds
1. Giannis Antetokounmpo MVP Odds (+300) Bet $100 to collect $400. FanDuel has the best odds, click here
Well, Giannis overtook Tatum for first place in the rankings, sort of. They’re tied in odds, but for the sake of rankings, Giannis can have the top spot. He put up two 40+ point performances on the week. He also put up an efficient 26-point game against the Nets. His two losses are the only reason he doesn’t hold the lead for the top odds over Tatum. His updated season stats are 31.4 points per game and 11.3 rebounds per game.
2. Jayson Tatum MVP Odds (+300) Bet $100 to collect $400. FanDuel has the best odds, click here
Make no mistake, Tatum has been very solid this past week and in his past four games. While his monthly averages are still down, he’s brought them closer to home as of late with his play. Two 40+ point games and didn’t score under 30 points in his past four games. However, he also dropped two of those games, which is why he and Giannis are solid enough to stay even with the odds. The two teams have 10 losses while the Celtics lead the Bucks in wins 23 to 22. They matchup on Christmas Day to settle the odds leader.
3. Luka Doncic MVP Odds (+500) Bet $100 to collect $600. BetMGM has the best odds, click here
After two not-so-solid games from Doncic, he exploded for 50 points in a win. However, his team is 17-16 on the season and it’s hard to lead the odds for the MVP award when you’re not a top team in the league. While his stats are still incredible, they’ve fallen to a more human rate and his MVP case has taken a step back. With his usage, if he’s not putting up video game numbers, his team isn’t going to win much of anything.
4. Nikola Jokic MVP Odds (+750) Bet $100 to collect $850. Caesars has the best odds, click here
Jokic winning his third straight MVP award has picked up much more traction among the media as of late. Statistically, Jokic is averaging 24.9 points per game, 10.9 rebounds per game, and 9.3 assists per game. Not as eye-popping as some players, but that near triple-double comes with great impact that pulls out the best of his teammates and himself. His team is near the top of the Western Conference, so his case is becoming much more compelling. His overtaking Doncic won’t surprise me in the slightest.
5. Joel Embiid MVP Odds (+1200) bet $100 to collect $1300. Caesars has the best odds, click here
Embiid has been on a tear this month. He’s averaging 36 points per game on the month and is up to 33 points per game this season. He’s leading the NBA in points per game, which has seen him jump Doncic on better efficiency. The 76ers are rolling and are now 19-12 on the season. His team success and incredible stats give him a solid MVP case, and a jump from him as well wouldn’t be surprising.
