Earlier in the offseason, Giannis Antetokounmpo was unsure about his future with the Bucks.
The Bucks hired a new coach in Adrian Griffin, which didn't go over well with Giannis. If the Bucks didn't make any moves to compete moving forward, he was considering leaving.
So what did the Bucks do?
They traded away Jrue Holiday and Grayson Allen and brought in Damian Lillard to pair up with Giannis.
Milwaukee's starting five could potentially be Lillard, Khris Middleton, Giannis, Bobby Portis, and Brook Lopez.
That will be a difficult group to stop this season.
What About The Suns?
How quickly people forget about the Suns.
Phoenix didn't have much depth after bringing in Bradley Beal. But with this trade, they're now very competitive.
The Suns brought in Jusuf Nurkic to be their center instead of Deandre Ayton. That's an upgrade.
They've also added solid young pieces like Nassir Little and Keon Johnson and will have Grayson Allen as a three-and-D specialist, likely off the bench.
The Suns will have Beal, Devin Booker, Kevin Durant, and Nurkic in their starting five. Phoenix can pick between Josh Okogie, Eric Gordon, Keon Johnson, Nassir Little, or Grayson Allen as the other starter.
This team got so much more deep. They might be better than Denver now.
What Happens To Portland?
The Blazers are ready to rebuild behind Scoot Henderson. That's that. But they'll still be competitive with Jrue Holiday, Deandre Ayton, Anfernee Simons, and Henderson.
