Nikola Jokic doesn't lead the league in any categories. But he's top-ten in all the major ones.
Jokic has scored 27.4 points, with 12.7 rebounds, 7.9 assists, and a 63.4% field goal percentage.
And his team is 6-1 to begin the year. That always helps.
2. Luka Doncic (+420) (Bet $100 to collect $520)
While Luka Doncic might not have the best field goal percentage, he's added 32 points per game while hauling in 10.7 rebounds. Doncic has also averaged 9.3 assists per game this season.
There were a lot of questions about the Mavericks this season. But Doncic has answered them all already. Dallas is 5-1 and playing some great basketball behind Doncic.
3. Jayson Tatum (+750) (Bet $100 to collect $850)
Jayson Tatum has scored 30+ points in all but one game this season. He's also grabbed 9.6 rebounds with 3.4 assists while shooting 55% from the field.
Some thought Tatum's offensive production would take a hit, knowing Kristaps Porzingis and Jaylen Brown were on the roster. But that hasn't been the case. He's taken at least 20 shots in all but one game this year.
4. Joel Embiid (+1000) (Bet $100 to collect $1100)
Credit to Joel Embiid for playing at a high level right now. He's a former MVP, so it's expected. But he had to deal with a lot of side chatter before the season.
His focus has been incredible for the Sixers despite James Harden not being around and creating conflict.
Embiid has scored 29.4 points per game, with 11 rebounds and 6.2 assists. He's also shooting 50% from the field and has the Sixers are 4-1 on the season.
5. Stephen Curry (+1000) (Bet $100 to collect $1100)
In the fifth spot, it's Steph Curry, who has scored 30.4 points per game on 54.5% from the field.
You'd think Curry was a player in the paint with those numbers. But nope. He's taken 11.7 threes per game and has drilled 48.8% from downtown to begin the year.
6. Giannis Antetokounmpo (+1300) (Bet $100 to collect $1400)
Giannis was the first player to fall down the odds list in the NBA. He's added just 24 points per game, with 8.4 rebounds and 3.2 assists. None of these stats pop out.
In the last two games, Antetokounmpo has attempted just 21 shots combined in 31.5 minutes per game. He's not playing like an all-star recently. He's got plenty of time to fix that.
