NBA MVP Power Rankings

1. Joel Embiid (+250) (Bet $100 to collect $350)

Joel Embiid has scored 35 points per game, with 11.7 rebounds, six assists, and a field goal percentage of 54%.

However, if he misses 11 more games this season, he won't be able to win the MVP award. That's ultimately the gamble you're going to take with Embiid.

He added over 40 points per game in December and never scored less than 31. However, he did miss multiple games during the month.

2. Nikola Jokic (+250) (Bet $100 to collect $350)

Jokic has only scored 26.1 points per game this season. However, he's third in rebounds and fourth in assists.

Jokic is close to averaging a triple-double. However, he hasn't attempted more than 14 shots in each of his last four games and hasn't reached 30+ points for four straight games.

He also turned the ball over seven times in a loss to the Thunder, 119-93 last time out.

3. Luka Doncic (+430) (Bet $100 to collect $530)

Luka Doncic is on a rampage!

He's scored at least 39 points in four straight games and added at least ten assists in three of those four games.

The Mavericks also won three of those four matchups, and Doncic had no more than five turnovers in any of those games.

He's creeping up the odds list again.

4. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (+450) (Bet $100 to collect $550)

The Thunder keep winning behind the leadership and scoring ability of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

He's added 31.2 points per game, with 5.7 rebounds and 6.3 assists. Shai has also shot nearly 55% from the floor.

He also averaged about 32 points in December and shot 55.3% from the floor. However, his inability to shoot the three won't help him win this award.

5. Giannis Antetokounmpo (+1500)  (Bet $100 to collect $1600)

Giannis Antetokounmpo is also weak from three-point land. However, he's way more dominant on the glass, earning 11.5 rebounds per game in December.

Antetokounmpo also added 32.5 points per game and 6.8 assists per game in December.

Most of all, the Bucks only lost two games with Giannis in the lineup last month.

6. Jayson Tatum (+3100) (Bet $100 to collect $3200)

Tatum has fallen down the board again, sitting at +3100. However, he's performed better recently.

Tatum has added at least 25 points in four straight games, and the Celtics have only lost two games with Tatum in December.

Still, his points per game and rebounds per game dropped in December, which isn't a good sign for the MVP hopeful.
