NBA MVP Rankings

1. Nikola Jokic (-170) (Bet $170 to collect $270)

Nikola Jokic has added nearly 30 points per game to open up March. He's also attempted 19 shots per game in March, averaging 38.5 minutes.

Jokic isn't averaging a triple-double. But he's close. He's scored 26 points per game this season with 12.2 rebounds and 9.2 assists. The Denver big man has also shot 58.3% from the field, which is extremely impressive.

Jokic has had games with five or more threes attempted. But he's also had many games with no three-pointers attempted. He lets the game come to him and doesn't force anything. That's what makes him so great.

He's in line for his third MVP award of his career.

2. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (+250) (Bet $100 to collect $260)

The Oklahoma City Thunder have become one of the best teams in the Western Conference.

That's due to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who has led the Thunder with 31.1 points per game. He's second in the NBA in points per game and has also shot 54.6% from the field while adding 5.5 rebounds and 6.4 assists.

His stats still don't compare to Jokic. However, people around the NBA are impressed with his leadership on the Thunder. The Thunder are an incredibly young team that didn't have extremely high expectations coming into the season. Everyone knew about the talent but didn't expect it all to develop so quickly.

You can thank Shai for taking his game to the next level this year. We'll see if that's enough to win the MVP. As of now, it's not.

3. Luka Doncic (+700) (Bet $100 to collect $800)

Luka Doncic has scored 37.6 points per game through the first five games in March.

He's also averaged a triple-double, tallying 10.8 rebounds and 10.6 assists per game in the month.

He's added only six free throws per game in the month and has shot at least 50% in every game despite taking 26 shots from the floor per night.

Unfortunately, the Mavericks have wasted these Performances, going 2-3 in that time span.

Doncic hasn't missed 30 or more points since the All-Star break and continues to look absolutely incredible. But if the Mavericks don't win consistently, it doesn't matter.

4. Giannis Antetokounmpo (+1700) (Bet $100 to collect $1800)

After the All-Star Break, Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks started to tally up the wins. In the eight games Giannis has played, the Bucks are 6-2 since the break.

To begin the month, he's scored 34.3 points per game and has 11 rebounds and 8.5 assists per game.

If Giannis can increase his assist numbers and continue to shoot nearly 60% from the floor with 21+ shots per game, he'll rise up the rankings with more Milwaukee wins.

5. Jayson Tatum (+2600) (Bet $100 to collect $2700)

Tatum doesn't belong here. To begin March, Tatum has shot 45.7% from the field and has only scored 25.8 points per game.

The Celtics even lost two games in the month to Cleveland and Denver.

In the month, Jaylen Brown has outperformed Tatum on the Celtics. Tatum isn't even the best player on his own team right now. Don't bother with Tatum at +2600.
