NBA Eastern Conference Finals Futures
Cleveland Cavaliers (+190) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
The Cleveland Cavaliers had a better season than the Boston Celtics, but they are +190 to win the Eastern Conference.
Let that sink in. A 64-18 team is currently +190 to win the Eastern Conference. The Cavaliers were terrific at home, but also went 30-11 on the road and 41-11 in conference play. That conference record was better than the Celtics. Plus, the Celtics have some injury concerns with Jaylen Brown. Of course, Kristaps Porzingis is always a candidate to get injured too.
I think we'd all get excited if the Celtics played the Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference Finals. But the Cavaliers can certainly pull off an Eastern Conference Championship and make the NBA Playoffs. They've been elite all season.
Cleveland is the NBA's leader in points per 100 possessions on offense. They've also held teams to a 53.1% effective field goal percentage, which is fourth best in the league.
The Cavaliers can do it on both ends of the court. At +190, consider the Cavaliers.
Milwaukee Bucks (+3900) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
I don't think you can count the Bucks out if Damian Lillard is healthy. With Giannis Antetokounmpo and Lillard, the Bucks have two elite players who can easily get hot and carry the Bucks to the Eastern Conference Finals.
If the Bucks can get by the Pacers, you'd have the Bucks or Cavaliers guaranteed in the Eastern Conference Finals, as long as Cleveland gets the job done over the Heat (which is likely).
2025 NBA Western Conference Odds

Oklahoma City Thunder | -140 |
Los Angeles Lakers | +600 |
Golden State Warriors | +800 |
Los Angeles Clippers | +1200 |
Denver Nuggets | +1600 |
Minnesota Timberwolves | +2200 |
Houston Rockets | +2500 |
Memphis Grizzlies | +25000 |
NBA Western Conference Finals Futures
Minnesota Timberwolves (+1900) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
Most of the public will want the Los Angeles Lakers to take on the Golden State Warriors in the second round of the NBA Playoffs.
But neither may make it out of the first round.
The Minnesota Timberwolves have Anthony Edwards, who can indeed take over games in the NBA Playoffs. Meanwhile, the Lakers brought in Luka Doncic, who made the NBA Finals with the Mavericks last year. But Doncic isn't completely himself with the Mavericks. He doesn't fill up the box score with a high number of assists anymore and doesn't have the ball in his hands nearly as much.
Meanwhile, Minnesota is ranked as the No. 8 offense and No. 6 defense in the NBA in terms of points per 100 possessions. The Timberwolves are a top-ten team on both sides of the ball and have already beat the Lakers twice this season with their elite defense.
Houston Rockets (+2300) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
You can potentially have the same scenario as my Eastern Conference picks. If Minnesota and Houston both win the first round, at least one of the Timberwolves and Rockets will be in the NBA's Western Conference Finals.
The Rockets finished with 52 wins and are +2300 to win the Western Conference. That's absurd. Yes, they're young. But the Rockets still have some veteran presence and a coach in Ime Udoka who wins wherever he goes.
Plus, the Rockets just beat the Warriors, 106-96, on April 6. Houston is capable of winning against the Warriors.
