LA is listed at +385 to win this series on both FanDuel and BetMGM Sportsbook. Considering the last two games in Minneapolis were both close late, the Lakers still have a path to win three straight and advance to the second round.
Much has been said about JJ Redick only playing five players in the entire second half of Game 4, and deservedly so because it is such an unconventional strategy, but he should get a well-rested squad in Game 5. LA had more than 96 hours of rest following Sunday's Game 4 afternoon showdown, so fatigue should not be a big factor tonight.
Having two of the three best players in the series in James and Luka Doncic should also aid the Lakers. It doesn't take a basketball genius to point that out, but that duo's high level of talent and playmaking can always lead to a win.
So those are the reasons you can use to justify taking LA to come back and win this series. Erasing a 3-1 series deficit has happened before, and it can happen again with LeBron and Luka leading the charge.

With all of that said, Minnesota has earned every bit of its 3-1 series lead and should be expected to finish the job.
Anthony Edwards has out-shined LeBron and Luka to this point. His scoring is an ever-present threat and his passing skills elevate the Timberwolves' offense, as Julius Randle, Jaden McDaniels, and Naz Reid have stepped up in these four games.
Minnesota's defense, physicality and depth have been superior as well. Those elements have lifted the Timberwolves to a 3-1 series lead and it is why they are -500 to win just one of the next three games.
It should also be noted that the Lakers shot over 40% from deep in each of the last two games, and it wasn't enough to beat Minnesota. What happens if LA's 3-point shooting falls back down to Earth?
