The Bucks now climb to +4000 in the latest 2025-26 NBA Championship odds, a slight bump up from their previous +6000 odds this morning. Some books had them as high as +10000. +4000 is still only a 2.4% chance, and they sit in the middle of the pack as far as the odds board goes, with the 14th best chance to win it all.
Brook Lopez is also reportedly leaving the Bucks for a $18 million deal with the Clippers next season. Turner will presumably fill that role, and is one of the better centers in the league from behind the 3-point arc. He shot almost 40% from three last year, a major factor in the Pacers' ability to spread the floor and play at a fast pace on offense.
The Bucks are also up to +1300 in the Eastern Conference winner odds, sitting in seventh behind a large swarm of teams. They'll likely need to make another big move if they want to have a real shot next year against the Cavs, Knicks, and others.
Giannis Antetokounmpo Next Team Odds
As of Tuesday morning, Giannis was only -200 to remain with the Bucks in his next team odds on DraftKings Sportsbook. He had been shorter at -500 last week, but with speculation ahead of the July 1 free agency start, he had a chance of being moved.
With the announcement of the Turner signing, the odds were removed immediately, as Antetokounmpo is expected to stay with the team and not force a trade as they continue to build around him. The 30-year-old superstar has spent his entire career with the Bucks, winning an NBA Championship in 2021.
There had been many rumors of him looking to leave the organization or demand a trade as he enters the final year of his contract. But it looks like those are put to bed as of now, and all of his energy will be trying to return the Bucks to a contender in 2025-26.
