The Women's NCAA Tournament has the most momentum it's ever had before.
While the Caitlin Clark effect is full, other stars are taking over Women's College Basketball, and it's fun to watch. Clark's Iowa game against Maryland averaged 1.58 million in primetime in Week 13 of the season.
Prior to that game, LSU and South Carolina delivered the largest college basketball audience, which saw 1.55 million viewers.
It's safe to say this Women's Tournament will be the most watched in women's college basketball history.
2024 Women's March Madness Power Rankings
1. South Carolina Gamecocks
There's not much to say here. South Carolina is 32-0 and won an SEC title.
2. Iowa Hawkeyes
The Hawkeyes are not only led by Caitlin Clark. But Iowa has also scored the most points per 100 possessions and has added the most assists per game, at nearly 22 assists per game.
Clark doesn't ball hog.
3. UConn Huskies
The Huskies rank third in margin per 100 possessions. They went 28-5 this year and won the Big East.
4. USC Trojans
The Trojans are led by JuJu Watkins, who has averaged 27 points per game this season in 34.3 minutes a night. She's someone to watch out for come Tournament time.
5. Stanford Cardinal
It's tough to rebound against Cameron Brink of Stanford, who has added 11.9 rebounds per game this season. Brink is undoubtedly one of the stars to watch in this year's Tournament.
6. Texas Longhorns
Texas is second in margin per 100 possessions and fourth in points per 100 possessions. Rori Harmon is currently second in the nation with 7.8 assists per game. LSU Tigers

The Tigers won the NCAA Tournament last year. They've got a target on their back!
8. UCLA Bruins
The Bruins have six players who averaged at least nine points per game this season.
9. Indiana Hoosiers
Mackenzie Holmes led the team with 20 points and 6.9 total rebounds per game this season while shooting 66.7% from the field.
10. Notre Dame Fighting Irish
There aren't many players like Hannah Hidalgo in women's college basketball. She's led Notre Dame in her freshman season, with 23.3 points per game on nearly 14 two-point attempts per game.
11. Gonzaga Bulldogs
Gonzaga is fifth in the NCAA in margin per 100 possessions and has assisted on 20 baskets per game this year.
The Bulldogs only lost three games this season.
12. Ohio State Buckeyes
Ohio State has to play on the West Coast. That's not fun. But so is UConn, so they'll have to adjust and be prepared.
