No Caitlin Clark, no problem. The Indiana Fever cruised to a 15-point victory over the Minnesota Lynx on Tuesday night, taking home their first WNBA Commissioner's Cup trophy.
Clark sat out of the in-season tournament title game with a groin injury, but it didn't matter too much, with her teammates stepping up in a big way. The Fever were +6.5 against the Lynx last night without Clark, but covered the line and then some in the double-digit blowout.
Five players put up double figures for the road squad, and newly-acquired Natasha Howard was the game MVP. Now the big question looms. If the Fever can take out one of the best teams in the league on the road without their star player, can they win it all? The oddsmakers are certainly giving them a shot. Let's take a look at the WNBA Championship odds as we head towards the halfway point of the season.

Indiana Fever Championship Odds
The Indiana Fever are looking for their first WNBA Championship since 2012, where they also took out the Minnesota Lynx. They'll probably have to do it again in the playoffs, as the Lynx still have the best record in the league. Last night was only their third loss of the year, but it was a convincing one.
The Fever will now host the Las Vegas Aces on Thursday night, looking for revenge against A'ja Wilson for a late-June loss. Despite the recent excitement, the Fever are only 9-8 on the season, sitting in the 8th spot in the standings. They have dealt with injuries to Clark and others through the early part of the year, but will hope to build off of this momentum and string some wins together.
At +500, this isn't a bad price for the Fever. They aren't a perfect squad, but if last night showed anything, they are capable of beating anyone with strong defense and great offensive chemistry. They actually started the season at +350 odds, but have bounced around in this area with the Clark injuries impacting their early record.
