WNBA MVP Odds Breakdown
Azzi Fudd (+210) Click here to get the best odds at DraftKings Sportsbook
Fudd has made 2.0 3-pointers per game while shooting approximately 38.8% from beyond the arc for the Dallas Wings. The No. 1 overall pick owns one of the smoothest releases in the field and has already made six threes in a game during her rookie season.
The concern is the price and the setting. Fudd is the only rookie in the contest and will be participating in the event for the first time. Her raw shooting talent makes her a deserving favorite, but +210 leaves little margin for an early slow rack or problems adjusting to the timing and pressure.
Marina Mabrey (+300) Click here to get the best odds at DraftKings Sportsbook
Mabrey leads the field with 3.3 made 3-pointers per game while converting 39.2% of her attempts for the Toronto Tempo. She entered the event with a league-high 82 made threes and produced one of the season’s most explosive performances when she tied WNBA records with 53 points and nine 3-pointers against Los Angeles.
The veteran also brings valuable experience that most of the field lacks. Mabrey competed in the 2024 contest, and she and Howard are the only players in this year’s lineup who have participated previously. Her combination of volume, rhythm, experience and a more attractive price makes her the strongest option.
Janelle Salaün (+450) Click here to get the best odds at FanDuel Sportsbook
Salaün is averaging 2.5 made threes per game for the Golden State Valkyries and leads this field with a 39.4% conversion rate. She entered the break with 67 made 3-pointers and recorded four games with at least five makes during the first half.
She may be the most efficient shooter in the contest, but the timed format introduces a different challenge than taking open spot-up attempts within Golden State’s offense. Salaün has enough consistency to reach the final round, making her a serious alternative to the two market leaders.
Rhyne Howard (+600) Click here to get the best odds at FanDuel Sportsbook
Howard has connected on 3.2 threes per game for the Atlanta Dream, the second-highest average in the field, while shooting 35.4%. Her 79 total makes ranked behind only Mabrey among the six participants entering the contest.
Howard has the volume and scoring mentality required to post a massive round, highlighted by an eight-three performance earlier this season. She also competed in the contest as a rookie in 2022, giving her familiarity with the pace and format. Her lower shooting percentage creates volatility, but that same streakiness gives her meaningful upside at +600.
Bridget Carleton (+600) Click here to get the best odds at DraftKings Sportsbook
Carleton is making 2.6 threes per game while shooting 38.2% for the Portland Fire. She entered the contest with 65 made threes, placing her sixth in the league and ahead of both Hiedeman and Fudd in total makes.
Carleton does not possess the same star profile as Fudd, Mabrey or Howard, but her combination of accuracy and steady volume makes her an intriguing dark horse. She should be comfortable as a catch-and-shoot option, although this will be her first appearance in the event.
Natisha Hiedeman (+1400) Click here to get the best odds at FanDuel Sportsbook
Hiedeman has averaged 2.0 made threes per game for the Seattle Storm while shooting 35.2% on a career-high 5.8 attempts per game. She is also a career 37.2% shooter from beyond the arc, giving her a longer track record than the +1400 price might suggest.
The long odds reflect her lower 2026 efficiency and lack of previous contest experience. Hiedeman has enough shooting ability to outperform her price, but she likely needs multiple favorites to struggle in the opening round to advance.
WNBA 3-Point Contest Betting Outlook
Fudd may possess the highest pure shooting ceiling in the field, but betting the rookie at +210 requires trusting her to handle an unfamiliar format as the clear favorite. Mabrey offers nearly a full additional unit of value despite leading the league in both total makes and makes per game.
Her prior contest appearance should help with rack placement, pacing and the transition between shooting locations. Combined with her exceptional first-half form and proven ability to produce extended hot streaks, Mabrey is positioned to take advantage if Fudd feels the pressure in her All-Star Weekend debut.
