Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury Odds: Fury Pulls Out of December 18 Fight

December was supposed to be a massive month in the world of celebrity boxing. For the first time ever, Jake Paul was set to fight another boxer in Tommy Fury, and the former YouTuber was coming into the fight as an underdog. But, on Monday morning that all changed.

That's because Fury, who was favored to beat Jake Paul, has reportedly pulled out of the fight.

As of now, we don't have any real answer as to why he's withdrawn. Some are saying the brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury was injured during training. Others have said he's been battling illness in the weeks leading up to the fight. But, whatever the case may be, all we know for sure is that Tommy Fury won't be fighting Jake Paul on December 18.

Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury Cancelled

The Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury cancelation is a blow to Paul's boxing career. Not only was Fury supposed to be the first real boxer that Paul would go up against, but the latest Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury odds had Paul as the betting underdog for the first time in his career.

Paul is fresh off his win over former UFC champion Tyron Woodley via split decision in August. That was the longest fight of Paul's career and the first one that didn't end in a stoppage.

Paul is 4-0 in his short boxing career and while some see his stint in the sport as a joke, others see the potential in Paul as a real professional fighter.

As for Fury, his previous fight came on the same night as Paul vs. Woodley as he fought Anthony Taylor on the undercard.

Fury's appearance in that one was a bit of a disappointment. He won the fight in a lopsided victory, but he was expected to get a stoppage against a fighter like Taylor, who was making his boxing debut.
