Francis Ngannous ML @ +130 (Bet $100 to win $130)

I am a little shocked to see how heavily backed Ngannou is in this one. Odds are moving against him and Gane gets shorter and shorter as the fight approaches, but it seems like that won't stop bettors from backing the big man from Cameroon. Ngannou is one of the most feared strikers on the planet, which you'll see later on when we get into prop bets, so no matter who he is facing there is always the chance he could end it in one swing. Still, it's surprising to see over 70% of bets on Ngannou to win.

Francis Ngannou by KO/TKO or DQ @ +150 (Bet $100 to win $150)

Now THIS one makes sense. Like I said, there is no more feared power puncher on the planet than Francis Ngannou, just ask Stipe Miocic and Alistair Overeem. So, I'm not shocked to see a bunch of people hopping on this one. Honestly, this is also my favorite bet of the night. However, if there is one question I have for this one it's the value. He's +130 to win and +150 to win via KO. He's extremely unlikely to get a submission win, but there's a chance this one goes the distance and he gets a win. Just something to think about.

Francis Ngannou to win in Round 2 @ +650 (Bet $100 to win $650)

Not entirely sure where this one comes from. In his last 11 UFC fights, just one of them has ended in the second round, and it came in his last fight when he finished Stipe Miocic. If anything, I think a "Ngannou to win in Round 1" bet makes way more sense. But, what do I know? Round 2 is the round that bettor have chosen and they seem to be sticking to it.

Ciryl Gane to win by submission @ +750 (Bet $100 to win $750)

Another play I like. I think if Gane is going to win it's going to be by submission or decision. So, at +750, the value here is awesome. In his 10 UFC wins, Gane has three that have come by submission and four via KO/TKO. But, Gane is not an ultra-feared striker. He certainly doesn't have the advantage there in this fight. If he sits there and throws with Ngannou, he's already lost. His advantage is in his athleticism and grappling. So, at +750, why not throw a little money on Gane to win by submission?
