Let's just get it out of the way right now. Some of the names at the bottom of the list of Jake Paul next fight odds are not happening. Jake Paul isn't fighting Canelo Alvarez, Mike Tyson or Oscar De La Hoya.

Paul is interested in sanctioned fights that increase his record and standing as a legitimate boxer. None of those three opponents are in a similar weight class to Paul. Not to mention that Canelo Alvarez is the best boxer in the world right now and would beat the brakes off Paul.

So, what do Jake Paul next fight odds have to say about Jake Paul's next opponent? Let's look at the five most likely matchups.

Jake Paul Next Fight Odds - Top 5

1. Anderson Silva (+300)

From a promotion standpoint, this fight makes all the sense in the world. Paul gets to take on another mixed martial artist who is past his prime and has a big name while earning a win. There is a reason he's the favorite when it comes to Jake Paul next fight odds. However, if I were Paul I would stay as far away from The Spider as possible.

Silva is known as one of the greatest strikers in UFC history. He was a clinical tactician in the octagon and picked opponents apart. Not just that, but Silva has pro boxing experience against guys better than anyone Paul has faced. Hell, Silva already defeated former world champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.

2. Tommy Fury (+350)

If I were to bet on Jake Paul next fight odds, this is where my money would be headed. Paul and Fury already had a signed deal and were headed toward a battle last year. However, Fury had to pull out of the fight due to an illness.

The Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury fight makes sense on multiple levels. Fury is a star in his own right, gaining popularity on the show Love Island. He brings an international crowd into the mix. And, on top of all that, he's a real pro boxer (kind of). Sign me up for Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury.

3. Dillon Danis (+700)

There is no reason for Jake Paul to take a fight against Dillon Danis, but that hasn't stopped him from becoming the third favorite in the Jake Paul next fight odds. Dannis and Paul have had public spats over the years, but Danis brings almost no name recognition to the fight and is another past-his-prime MMA fighter.

Paul has beaten guys better than Danis already. A fight against Dillon Danis does nothing to raise Paul's boxing profile and would add no hype to the bout.

4. Nate Diaz (+700)

If Jake Paul is set on fighting former UFC fighters and mixed martial artists, and Anderson Silva doesn't come to fruition, this si the bout I'd like to see. So, it makes sense to see Diaz so high up the latest Jake Paul next fight odds.

From a promotion standpoint, Diaz would be electric trading verbal shots with Paul. It would be awesome to see these two in the lead-up to the fight and Diaz's profile as one of the most popular mixed martial artists of all time would surely bring viewers. The issue is I'm not entirely sure a win over Diaz would turn any heads in the boxing community.

5. Conor McGregor (+750)

As long as Dana White keeps bringing up McGregor's name for UFC title fights, Jake Paul vs. Conor McGregor is nothing more than a pipe dream. McGregor already got his massive boxing payday when he took on Floyd Mayweather Jr., and that was when he was in his prime.

This would be an absolutely massive fight that would bring millions and millions of viewers from across the globe. I just don't think McGregor has his sights set on anything other than getting back in the octagon after being embarrassed by Dustin Poirier two times in a row.
