After winning the WBO junior-featherweight tile in December 2018 and successfully defending it five times, Navarette won the vacant WBO featherweight title in October 2020 vs. Ruben Villa; and hasn’t looked back since. Standing at 5’9”, Baez will have the height advantage in this fight but does lose the reach battle with a reach of 70” vs. 72” of his opponent. Currently, the #7 WBO featherweight contender, Baez only recently moved from junior featherweight to featherweight and will face an uphill battle in this fight; by far the toughest of his career.
