The Jeddah Superdome will play host this time to the rematch between Usyk and Englishman Anthony Joshua, running back a September bout in which Usyk got the upper hand. After taking the early rounds, Usyk was able to coast and play defense in the latter, as he racked up points throughout leading to a unanimous decision win.
With the victory, Usyk (who was the underdog the first go around) took home multiple world titles off of Joshua including the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and IBO heavyweight belts. In handing Joshua the second loss of his career, Usyk also set himself up for the biggest payday of his life this Saturday in Saudi Arabia.

Oleksandr Usyk Record: 19-0-0
Despite being 35 years old, Usyk has a relatively low number of professional fights with just 19 heading into this week’s bout vs. Joshua; his 20th. This largely stems from an extensive amateur career in which he won gold medals in the Strandzha Cup, European Championships, World Championships, and the Olympic Games.
Following his 2012 Olympic Gold medal, Usyk turned professional and hasn’t looked back since, winning his first 10 (nine via KO/TKO) fights in Europe before coming to the United States in 2016 to continue his dominance.
Before facing Joshua and coming onto the mainstream map, Usyk had picked up the WBC and WBO cruiserweight belts, before moving to heavyweight in the fight just before (a UD win over Derek Chirosa).
