Lauren Murphy (16-5-0)
A UFC veteran, Murphy signed with the promotion in 2014 and has seen a mixed bag of results in the time since. Beginning in the summer of 2019, Murphy went on a run, winning five straight fights before a September 2021 loss for the title against Valentina Shevchenko.
The last time we saw her in the octagon was a July decision win over Meisha Tate. Unable to put an aging Tate away, Murphy should have her hands full in this one against a fighter in Andrade who is destined for a title shot.
Jessica Andrade (23-9-0)
Despite being just 31 years old, eight years younger than Murphy, Andrade has been very active since joining the UFC in 2013. A former flyweight champion, Andrade has competed in four title fights, with a record of 1-3 over those fights.
Her most recent loss came to Shevchenko as well, that one a second-round TKO loss. Unlike many women fighters, Andrade has a knack for ending fights inside of the distance. In fact, in her 10-year career with the UFC which spans 21 fights, Andrade has just seven fights that have gone to decision, and none since 2018.
