Jake Paul will make his 2024 debut against Ryan Bourland live on DAZN. This fight is expected to begin around 9 p.m. ET as the co-main event.
Paul and Bourland will fight right before the Amanda Serrano vs. Nina Meinke 12-round fight for the IBF, WBO, WBVA, and IBO Women's Featherweight titles.
But while that fight will be 12 rounds, the Paul-Bourland fight is only eight rounds.
Paul's on a quest to become a world champion boxer. The expectation is that Paul has no problems knocking Bourland out. After all, the odds have the Over, Under on rounds at just 1.5 in an eight-round fight.
After all, Jake Paul earned a knockout against Andre August in the first round in December. So he's very capable of finishing this round early.

Fight Result | Odds | Implied Chance |
|---|---|---|
Jake Paul Win | -3300 | 97.06% |

Jake Paul has been given a 97.06% chance of defeating Ryan Bourland in this boxing bout.
We know what the critics will say. They'll say Paul doesn't fight top-tier boxers and doesn't deserve the recognition because of that.
But another first-round knockout would do a lot for Paul. He'd inch another step closer to being a world champion, which is his ultimate goal. If Paul wants to be a world champion, eventually, he'll face tough opponents as an underdog more regularly.
Jake Paul vs. Ryan Bourland Prediction
Ryan Bourland hasn't fought since his win against Santario Martin in September 2022. That was Bourland's only fight in the last six years.
He's coming out of retirement for this payday against Paul.
Bourland is known as being the aggressor. He'll likely be just as aggressive early against Paul. However, when Bourland was asked about Paul, he didn't seem too confident. He acknowledged Paul is dedicated and strong.
The only thing Bourland has is his experience. But being mostly away from the boxing ring for a half dozen years isn't appealing.
The lines for Paul keep rising. All of the steam is towards Paul. I wouldn't rule out a Round 1 knockout. That's currently at +175 and one of the few ways to earn plus money on a Jake Paul win.
