As fight day arrives in Miami, fans tuning in to Netflix are asking one main question: when will Jake Paul and Anthony Joshua actually walk to the ring. While the event is billed as a Friday night blockbuster, the main event will not begin until much later in the evening. The early prelims are scheduled to start as early as 4:45 PM ET and will stream on Netflix’s secondary platform, Tudum, before the main broadcast begins.
The official main card goes live at 8:00 PM ET on Netflix, but Paul and Joshua will be last. Several fights will take place before them, including a featherweight bout between Jahmal Harvey and Kevin Cervantes, followed by cruiserweight action featuring Anderson Silva against Tyron Woodley. The co main event is the IBF, WBO, and WBA super featherweight title fight between Alycia Baumgardner and Leila Beaudoin, which is expected to take significant time due to championship rounds and full introductions.

Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua Ring Walks
Based on the current run of show, Jake Paul and Anthony Joshua are expected to make their ring walks at approximately 10:30 PM ET. That time can always slide later if earlier bouts go the distance or experience delays, but it is very unlikely to move earlier. Fans should plan for a late night if they want to catch the opening bell live.
The betting market has also tightened dramatically heading into fight day. Paul has shortened to around +600 at some sportsbooks, while Joshua has dipped to roughly -900 after opening near -1400. Many bettors believe that number is still far too short for a former heavyweight champion and Olympic gold medalist. At weigh ins, the physical gap was impossible to ignore. Joshua holds roughly a six inch reach edge, a five inch height advantage, and more than 25 pounds in weight. He is bigger, faster, stronger, and vastly more experienced, while Paul’s resume is built almost entirely on retired athletes and crossover fights.
Regardless of how lopsided the matchup appears on paper, the spectacle is set. Expect the final walkouts around 10:30 PM ET on Netflix, with the understanding that boxing main events almost always run later rather than earlier.
