Fight night is here in Las Vegas, and fans logging onto DAZN are asking the obvious question: when will Mario Barrios and Ryan Garcia actually walk to the ring. The WBC welterweight title card is packed with three world title fights before the main event, so the headline bout will not hit until well after midnight on the East Coast. Free preliminary bouts start at 5:45 PM ET on DAZN before the pay-per-view kicks in.
The official PPV main card goes live at 7:55 PM ET on DAZN, but Garcia and Barrios are last. The card opens with Bektemir Melikuziev against Sena Agbeko at super middleweight, followed by Frank Martin taking on Nahir Albright at super lightweight. From there, two additional world title fights eat into the evening: Gary Antuanne Russell defending his WBA super lightweight belt against Andy Hiraoka, and Richardson Hitchins putting his IBF super lightweight title on the line against Oscar Duarte. Both are full 12-round championship fights, and both will push the main event later.

Based on the current run of show, Garcia and Barrios are expected to make their ring walks around 11:45 PM ET. Two 12-round championship undercard fights make that window realistic but not guaranteed. If either Hitchins-Duarte or Russell-Hiraoka goes the distance with drama and extended post-fight coverage, expect that clock to push past midnight. It is extremely unlikely to move earlier.
The betting market tells its own story heading into tonight. Garcia opened as high as -250 at some books and has settled around -200, while Barrios drifted out to +210 despite holding the belt. That line has as much to do with Garcia's star power and Barrios' uninspiring title reign as anything else. Barrios is coming in off consecutive draws, including a majority draw with a 46-year-old Manny Pacquiao in July, and the oddsmaking public is not buying the champion story right now. Garcia has one official win in three years, but he dropped Devin Haney three times in April 2024 and that performance still carries weight with bettors.
At the weigh-in, Barrios looked like the natural welterweight he is, hitting the limit comfortably. Garcia, who has competed at multiple weight classes, came in looking noticeably drained. That weight cut, combined with the $5,000 fine he picked up for a pre-fight weight check violation earlier this month, has plenty of bettors wondering whether the physical gap will matter deep into the championship rounds.
Plan for the main event bell around 11:53 PM ET, with the understanding that boxing cards almost always run later rather than earlier.
