Who Is Chase DeMoor?
Chase DeMoor is an American actor, crossover boxer, and former Division II football player whose athletic background predates his entertainment career. Raised by his mother after losing his father at age ten, DeMoor developed a reputation early on for physicality, resilience, and competitiveness, traits that later translated from football fields to boxing rings.
Before combat sports, DeMoor carved out a legitimate football résumé. After starting his college career at the College of the Siskiyous, he transferred to Central Washington University, where he became one of the most disruptive special teams players in the country. In 2018, he led the NCAA in blocked kicks and was named Hero Sports Division II Special Teams Player of the Year. Professional football opportunities followed, including stints with the Montreal Alouettes (CFL), Arizona Rattlers (IFL), and Michigan Panthers (USFL).
That athletic base laid the foundation for his transition into boxing.
Professional Boxing Record
- 8 fights: 5 wins, 2 losses, 1 draw
- 5 wins by knockout
- 1 draw, 2 losses (1 by DQ, 1 by RTD)
DeMoor’s professional boxing journey began with turbulence. His debut against Josh Brueckner ended in a second-round corner retirement loss, followed by a controversial disqualification against Stevie Knight for striking while Knight was down, an incident that resulted in a reported suspension and fine. Those early setbacks cemented DeMoor’s reputation as raw and undisciplined, drawing heavy criticism online.
But that narrative no longer tells the full story.
Since returning, DeMoor has shown consistent improvement in composure, pacing, and finishing ability. He’s rattled off multiple stoppage wins, including first-round knockouts and dominant TKO performances in Mexico and Colombia throughout 2024 and 2025.
Misfits Boxing Professional Record
- 5 fights: 4 wins, 1 loss
- 2 wins by TKO, 2 by decision
DeMoor’s most meaningful success has come under the Misfits Boxing banner, where he captured, and defended, the MFB Heavyweight Title.
After losing a split decision in the inaugural heavyweight title bout, DeMoor rebounded emphatically:
- Defeated Malcolm Minikon via unanimous decision
- Won the vacant MFB Heavyweight Title against Kelz
- Defended the belt with TKO wins over Tank Tolman and Natan Marcoń in 2025
Those title defenses showcased a more measured fighter, one capable of managing distance, using his size effectively, and capitalizing on opponent mistakes rather than forcing chaos.
By late 2025, DeMoor had established himself as one of Misfits Boxing’s most reliable heavyweight champions.
At 6’5” with true heavyweight size, Chase DeMoor brings physical pressure, durability, and improving fundamentals that few influencer fighters can match. Recent performances show better cardio, sharper shot selection, and a more composed approach built around structure rather than emotion. Still, this matchup presents his toughest test to date. DeMoor has historically struggled against technically refined strikers, and Andrew Tate’s timing, counterpunching, and composure under pressure introduce a level of difficulty he hasn’t consistently faced.
That’s what makes this fight so pivotal. Once mocked as a raw crossover experiment, DeMoor now enters Misfits Mania - The Fight Before Christmas as the reigning MFB Heavyweight Champion with momentum and real knockout power. He may be the underdog, but he’s no longer the unknown. A win over Tate would instantly elevate DeMoor from influencer champion to legitimate crossover contender, while the outcome will ultimately define not just this bout, but his place in the evolving landscape of crossover boxing.
