Rewind to 2018, and Jake Paul is the King of YouTube, where he boasts a cool 20+ million subscribers, which have garnered over 7 billion views on the streaming platform. In addition to his video fame, Paul has collected over 20 million Instagram followers while having over 4 million followers on Twitter. However, the fame and notoriety weren't enough for the Cleveland, Ohio native as he decided to test the waters at the latest sensation, celebrity boxing.

Paul would face popular YouTube star Deji Olatunji in his boxing debut. Deji, who's the brother of social media influencer turned professional boxer KSI, faced Jake's brother, Logan, in the event's main event of the evening. Paul would dominate Deji en route to a fifth-round TKO victory.

Following his boxing debut, Paul would then announce his professional debut against retired NBA star Nate Robinson. Paul and Robinson would clash in November 2020 and would end when Paul viciously knocked out the former NBA Slam Dunk Champion. The knockout would garner massive internet attention in true Paul-family viral fashion.

After his highlight KO of Robinson, Paul would up the competition to the next level in the form of former NCAA Division-I Championship Wrestler, ONE Championship Welterweight Champion, and UFC star Ben Askren. Paul would annihilate the recently-retired MMA star in the first round and, perhaps for the first time, was starting to be taken seriously by combat sports pundits and fans alike.

Paul would once again take the next step, this time against former UFC Welterweight Champion and knockout artist Tyron Woodley in August 2021. Paul and Woodley engaged in a razor-thin bout, which Paul would ultimately win via split decision.

Following the bout with Woodley, Paul told the former UFC Champion that he'd accept a rematch if Woodley got an "I <3 Jake Paul" tattoo, which Woodley reluctantly obliged. The rematch would take place four months later, in December 2021, and this time, Paul put all the doubt to rest as he dispatched Woodley with a thunderous sixth-round knockout.

Out goes Tommy Fury, and in steps Hasim Rahman Jr. The second-generation star will have the biggest fight of his career, popularity-wise and financially-wise, when he takes on the YouTube star-turned-pro boxer. The 31-year-old hopes to get back on track after suffering the first defeat of his professional career when he was TKO'd by James McKenzie Morrison this past April. While Paul is sometimes criticized for the competition that he's faced to begin his career, Rahman Jr. has the same issue. Before his bout against Morrison, Rahman Jr.'s opponents hold a combined record of just 52-116-10.

Rahman Jr.'s father, Hasim Rahman, was a former WBC, IBF, IBO, and Lineal Heavyweight Champion in the early 2000s and compiled a record of 50 wins to just nine losses. Rahman faced some of the best of the best the heavyweight division had to offer, facing the likes of Lennox Lewis, Evander Holyfield, James Toney, Wladimir Klitschko, and Alexander Povetkin.

Meanwhile, Rahman Jr. will look to kickstart his career with the first notable win of his young career when he faces Paul in New York, New York.
