Oliveira vs. Chandler Fighter Records, Odds and Predictions

Charles Oliveira and Michael Chandler are both two extremely well respected, veteran fighters in their own right. But, they’ve each taken very different paths to get where they are today, the top of the UFC lightweight division and fighting for a title at UFC 262.

For Oliveira, he’s been fighting in the UFC since 2021, an insane 11 year career in the company that is rare to see these days as fighters often come and go. He’s fought in 39 fights in the UFC and Saturday night will be his very first title shot at age 31.

Chandler is a veteran in his own right, but is new to the UFC. Michael Chandler has 27 professional fights but just one in the UFC. Chandler got his start in Bellator in 2010 and is the former Bellator lightweight champion.

Oliveira vs. Chandler Prediction

This fight is a tough one to predict as we’ve never seen Oliveria in a title fight and we’ve only seen Michael Chandler in a UFC octagon one time prior to the UFC 262 main event. The company clearly thinks highly of Chandler, he was the alternate for Kahbib vs. Gaethje had one of them not been able to go.

There is tons of value in either side of the moneyline since Oliveira vs. Chandler odds are so close. But, there may be even more value in picking the UFC’s submission king to make Chandler tap on Saturday night.
